If you are looking for a light-hearted adventure that spans across extraordinary worlds, you are in luck. Turbo Button, creators of Floor Plan, are gearing up to release their adventure puzzle game, Along Together, to a ton of new platforms.
If the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because the title launched on the Daydream back in April of last year. This $9.99 game managed to turn more than a few heads, and is now set to take on Steam, Oculus, Gear VR, and PlayStation VR starting May 29th.
Along Together puts you into the role of an imaginary friend to a group of children. When their pet dog Rishu runs off, it will fall on you to help get him back. You will need to guide your friends through over a dozen levels packed full of obstacles and danger. Like any good imaginary friend, you manipulate the world around you and keep the search for Rishu going.
At its core, Along Together plays like a 3rd person VR co-op platform game, even though it is only single player. It features a nice balance between clearing paths with your VR powers, and moving your friend through the path. You event get to do a little treasure hunting durring the 3-4 hours of gameplay.
The Oculus Go, Rift, Gear VR, PlayStation VR, and all Steam supported HMDs will be seeing Along Together on May 29. Each version will have motion and gamepad controller support and the new release has been updated with 6DoF support. While do not have prices on each platform, we do know that the PS4 version will be $19.99, and supports a native 120 FPS on the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
