Everything Must Fall is a VR puzzle game that relies heavily on physics, where you get to do the exciting job of a demolitions expert. The game is being created by Swedish studio, Carry Castle for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. It will release on Early Access on Steam at the end of May.
Everything Must Fall features a main character (therefore you) who looks like the top half of a glue stick. But the rest of it is pretty normal, run-of-the-mill stuff. You go to work every day as a demolitions expert at Blow Big Stuff Up Ltd, but you’re a bit of an outcast amongst the other oddly-shaped people. I guess your shape just isn’t trending right now. Anyway, your square-shaped, wizard-hat wearing parents are suddenly in danger (they got parentnapped?). And it’s up to you to blow things up and save them. But really, who doesn’t love blowing up castles in the sky? And earn coins while you do it.

The developers are promising 80+ levels across various maps (like the floating islands, pirate sea and a type of fiery hell) when Everything Must Fall is fully released, but for the Early Access version, there will only be about 10+ levels to play through. However you have quite a few ways to go about it, since this is a puzzle game and you have to figure things out, with a lot of explosives at your disposal. “We got dynamites, cannons, slingshots, bowling, paper airplanes, coconuts, skulls, books. We got it all,” the developers said. But I’m not entirely sure where you keep all that stuff. Better not sit down..
The game has a cute low-poly style that works for the most part. And if you’re really into destroying stuff then this game will probably be a hoot – it also has a leaderboard so there is some replay value. Plus, if you have kids then this will be a definite winner.
