So these days when you hear ‘mining’ you probably think of cryptocurrency mining, which is something a few VR game developers are toying around with. However, Cave Digger does away with all that lazy bum phooey and takes you back to mining’s roots. That is to say, earning your riches with sweat and blood by taking a pickaxe to a rich vein deep underground on the Western frontier.
Cave Digger takes place in a small town in an alternative universe set in the old west. Starting out, you’ll have to make do with some scrappy aftermarket tools and devices to get your mining enterprise started. Then after you’ve done some hard, menial labor, you can go back up to civilization to buy upgraded tools. So you can delve even deeper end get even richer of course.
“How much money is enough? Will you be able to stop? What happens if you don’t? The Answer to these questions and more lay at the bottom of the mine,” according to VRKiwi’s website.
