Evasion is one of those games that you watch a couple of minutes of gameplay of, and you just want to dive in. There is something about four players teaming up to take on unimaginable odds in team based combat. So, of course we got excited when word came out that we will have this game on the Vive and Rift, Fall of 2018. Unfortunately, PSVR players where not so lucky. At least until now.
Announced earlier today by the developers over at Archiact, Evasion will be headed to the PSVR platform. Best of all, PSVR owners should see a Fall release around the same time as the PC counterpart. The PSVR version will also feature support for the PSVR AIM controller.
On the Attack
If you are unfamiliar with Evasion, it is a sci-fi themed VR shooter that can be played co-op or solo. The solo game puts you against a horde of invading alien robots that are hell bent on destroying mankind. You can choose from four playable classes that include two damage dealers and two support classes. As you level up, you customize your characters skills to make the class your own.
Once you get your feet wet in Evasion, you can team up for some four-player co-op action. The developers have stressed the importance of teamwork, and have included various powerup throughout their destructible environments. If you would like to know more about Evasion, check out our hands on review where we team up with the developers for some robot killing goodness.
Evasion will be headed to Steam and the PlayStation VR sometime in Fall of 2018. We will be sure and keep you updated as new information becomes available.
