Tinkerers will soon have an all new VR playground at their disposal. The physics-based puzzle game, Crazy Machines VR, will be hitting the Rift, Vive, and PSVR platforms. While we do not have a definitive release date or price, we do have a cool little teaser video that shows us what’s in store.
VR is a natural fit for games that let your imagination run wild, especially when constructing a galactic game of Mouse Trap. The German based development studio, FAKT Software, aims to provide the first VR entry of their long running puzzle game series, this Fall.
Crazy Machines VR will come with both puzzles to solve and the tools you need to design your own. Let’s just hope we can share those with our friends once we are done! You will even get an ill-tempered robot assistant to aid in your machinations.
EuroVideo, who will be publishing Crazy Machines has very high hopes for their debut into VR. Marc Wardenga, the Head of Games at EuroVideo, says that “It is so impressive that not only fans of the series will love it, but all those interested in VR will be convinced by the technology “.
Crazy Machines VR will be making an appearance this April at PAX East. With any luck, we will see if Marc’s sentiment holds true. As a tinkerer who’s love of keeping all his fingers outweighs his ambitions, I will be rooting for the team’s success.
