Degica Games announced that they have a new action-rhythm game in the works, and it’s pretty clear who the star of the show is. Hatsune Miku VR is set to bring the famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku to the Rift and Vive. Don’t worry though, the world needs backup dancers and we know you’re up to the task.
Yes, VR has a fair amount of good rhythm and dance games, but it’s hard to see Miku fans pass up this opportunity. Especially if the game features a global ranking board. No better way to show you’re a super-fan than topping the charts.
Hitting the Mark
Clearly this game is targeted to fans of the virtual singer, but that won’t stop me from trying to outrank those super-fans if given the chance. The VR game will feature songs by various Hatsune Miku artists with 8 tracks in total at launch this Spring. The developers have stated that more will be released as time passes, and each will have two difficulty settings.
Not a lot of gameplay details are available just yet. However, fans might remember Hatsune Miku making her way to PSVR last year in Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. This game had players waving glow sticks during concert performed by Miku. If the screenshots for Hatsune Miku VR show us anything, it’s that the PC release looks to be a little more involved. That is something the fans will no doubt be excited about. We will keep you posted as more details become available.
