A little more than a year after the launch of Kona, the developers over at Parabole are keeping true to their word. As of yesterday, you can jump back into Kona’s snowy landscape on your PC or PS4, with full VR support.
Both the PS4 and PC versions come with motion controller support that allows you to rotate and inspect items. You can choose from a “comfort mode” or “normal” locomotion options as you explore the frigid North. Also, if you are a returning player, you can seamlessly pick up on an existing game thanks to the cross-save feature.
The Big Chill
If you are new to Kona, it is a first-person survival game that places you into the role of a 1970’s detective. You find yourself in Northern Canada investigating a recent rash of vandalism on your clients hunting manor. That is, at least until a strange blizzard rips through town and all of its inhabitants seemingly vanish.
You will need to navigate this eerie snowscape as you search for clues and fight the elements to survive. This VR update does come at a cost though. The PC DLC is available for $5.99, and the PSVR DLC is currently £4.99. If you are looking to pick up Kona for the first time, you can get a bundle on Steam for $18.99, and the PS4 version for £15.99.
