LEGO Digital Play Lab in Denmark, in collaboration with Schell Games, launched the Beta of LEGO BrickHeadz Builder game last December. Exclusive to Google Daydream, the title is free and a new major update has just been released for LEGO BrickHeadz Builder.
Some of the changes that come with the update include a new free building gallery. Luckily it’s unlocked from the start of the game. The developers also improved the brick rotation option and added a second way to rotate your brick while building. Which is especially helpful because some of the comments I’ve heard about the game suggest that the rotating mechanic needed some improvement.
You Can Now Create Your Own Unique Character
When playing LEGO BrickHeadz Builder you can now also place models directly onto the desk for the BrickHeadz to admire. Plus they’ve added some more options for you to unleash your creativity with an individual bricks coloring mode which allows you to recolor or paint after or during building.
Lastly, probably the biggest thing lacking from LEGO BrickHeadz Builder was the option to create your own character brick by brick – which put some people off. But the developers from LEGO Digital Play Lab have now added a new brick-by-brick character creation mode with this update. It allows total customization of your character by letting you build it from scratch. Add to that the new individual bricks coloring mode and I’d say you’ve got pretty much total freedom to create the coolest LEGO characters ever.
Note that the new character creation mode is unlocked after the first chapter of puzzles. So if you haven’t checked this game out yet, you can do so on the Play Store.
