There’s nothing better in life than creating something that changes the world. For Kaan, that something is artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, Kaan might have also doomed humanity to a future of AI overlords. In ManMade, we are going to experience how that story unfolds.
For CBILAB Studios, the goal involves far less robotic doom gloom. They just want to bring the sci-fi story driven world of ManMade to your VR platform of choice. In order to do that, ManMade will be going live on Kickstarter, February 2018.
The AI-ruled World of 2050
In ManMade, we choose to follow the paths of one of two playable characters. Anika and Kaan, each with their own view of the world, must use their wit to reach their goals. Every detail matters, every interaction shapes the future, every decision could ruin everything.
CBILAB hopes to deliver a cinematic experience of what life could be like in a dystopian AI ruled future. To do that, this sci-fi detective VR experience uses real actors through 3D digital scanning. The goal is to make the game feel like an epic movie experience that you are a part of. Personally, I can’t wait to check out an AI ruled, 2050 Istanbul. It will be interesting to see how the camera views and mechanics work to enforce a cinematic experience for the player.
The Kickstarter goes live this February, with plans to bring ManMade to the Rift, Vive, and PSVR. In an effort to reach more players, CBILAB is promoting their new game through a friend referral system. It’s an interesting strategy that might just pay off in a close-knit community like VR currently has. You can sign up for future updates on the game’s website and get in on a free copy of ManMade by referring five friends through a custom invitation link. As always, we will update you as more information becomes available. Happy hunting VR gamers!
