It appears that PSVR owners will get a chance to go up against the Dark CPU in 2018 after all. Will you assist Uzume Tennouboshi as Zero Dimension teeters on the brink of destruction? Well, you will get your chance because Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is officially coming to Western audiences next Spring.
Not many Japanese RPG’s make it to Western audiences, especially on the PSVR. So, the news that Megadimension Neptunia VIIR and One Piece: Grand Cruise would be here in 2018 is pretty exciting. Let’s hope this is a new trend for PlayStation.
Right now, very little is known about the gameplay in Megadimension Neptunia VIIR. We do know that it will revolve around your interaction with Neptune, the CPU of Planeptune and many other CPUs from other dimensions. The combat, looks to be strategic turn-based style and revolve around using each character’s unique abilities to overcome your enemies.
Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is said to be a remake of Megadimension Neptunia VII, featuring improved graphics and combat systems. So, if it is half as fun as the original, it should be a massive win for fans of the series.
We will keep you posted as further details become available. For right now, it looks as though we will have to wait until Spring of 2018 to get our hands on a copy. In the meantime, we would like to know your thoughts. Would you like to see more Japanese PSVR games make their way West? More importantly, what would be your first pick?
