It may not exactly be Magic The Gathering, but the surprisingly popular card-based action game, Million Arthur VR, was released back in June by HTC and Square Enix for the Vive in Japan. Now, in a surprise release, HTC and Square Enix have brought an English version of Million Arthur VR to Vive owners in the west.
Previously released on mobile devices, (Ka-ri-Sei) Million Arthur VR is an anime-style single-player card game where you face off against otherworldly monsters in battles in a virtual world. This is quite the strange world, however, with the focus drawn to four characters (all named Arthur) who all drew excalibur from the stone, just like a million other Arthurs in this world, and now everyone is vying for the throne of Camelot.
Now the four different classed heroes, including, a merchant, a thief, a diva, and a mercenary have to face off against invading monsters who decided to take the throne for themselves. All that trouble for one measly chair. Anyway, it looks like a lot of fun and Vive owners in Japan certainly seemed to enjoy Million Arthur VR.
You can now download Million Arthur VR: Character Command RPG on Steam at a £29.99 GBP / $39.99 USD price tag.
