Oculus is having a last-minute holiday sale – so if you’re one of those people who, like me, leave all of the Christmas shopping to the very last minute then you’re in luck right now. Because Oculus is selling the Oculus Rift + Touch bundle for $379 until December 20. So that should put you in a festive mood! Select stores are also offering various discounts, including Best Buy, Amazon, and Newegg. But you’ll have to check with your local retailer for more details on that.
The sale is available on the Oculus website and doesn’t include any games but that shouldn’t be much of a worry to you because the company is also having an end-of-year Oculus Winter Sale. This sale will give you access to some of the best games for Oculus Rift and Gear VR at a discounted price until it ends on January 2.
Some of the items on sale that have us excited include, Killing Floor: Incursion which is half off for $19.99, Wilson’s Heart which is going for $11.99, Job Simulator for 17.99, Heart of the Emberstone at $23.99, Edge of Nowhere at $19.99, and Narcosis at $7.99. There’s also The Unspoken which is going for $19.99 – not a bad price at all, considering the developers recently added a whole single-player campaign in an update.
The store is also having a bundle sale priced at $90 each, which offers 7 games per bundle. The three bundles offer a variety of games and experiences and is dynamically priced. Meaning that if you own any of the games in the bundle then the system will simply discount them from your bundle upon purchase.
Gear VR players aren’t losing out either, with big titles like Wands going for $2.99 and Augmented Empire going for $2.49. There’s also Krypt Crawler which is going for $2.49 and Death Horizon which is going for $2.99. It’s easy to miss some of the great titles on Gear VR but this sale should introduce you to a few of them should you decide to buy any.
So if you’ve got some catching up to do on VR games this holiday then now might a great chance to get some of those titles you want.
