Earlier this week Oculus revealed their content lineup for the upcoming Oculus Go standalone headset. Part of the launch titles is a peculiar new game from Coatsink called They Suspect Nothing. Now, while their previous titles like Augmented Empire and the Esper series took things quite seriously, Coatsink’s latest VR endeavor takes a more bizarre route down humor lane.
They Suspect Nothing is a comedic mini-game collection about robots and deception where you’re the last human left on earth and now you have to get through a series of bizarre human-detection tests to prove that you’re a robot. Because robots are the world’s overlords now and if you’re not one of them then…well… bad things will happen. So it’s up to you to get through 12 wacky mini-games with three difficulty settings in order to infiltrate robot society.
Check out the trailer below:
The game also features a customizable robot avatar (because you want to get the complete metal look), and local profiles and leaderboards. Which means you can challenge your friends to see who’s the coldest, hardest metal thanks to the Oculus Go’s ability to let players easily pass and play.
As for the robots you’ll have to prove you’re metal to, there will be various robot instructors scattered throughout 3 unique game hubs. And the game features a full voice cast as well, including award-winning actor Jim Broadbent.
No release date has been announced for They Suspect Nothing yet, but it is a launch title for Oculus Go which means it should be available sometime soon. Since the Oculus Go is set to release sometime during ‘Spring 2018’. They Suspect Nothing will also have native Gear VR support.
