Snail Games recently announced that their long-awaited ARK Park will be headed to PSVR this December. Making the announcement at Sony’s TGS 2017 Conference, the studio said that the VR title will include multiplayer functionality. That is right, in just a few short months, you can drag all your PSVR buddies back to Isla Nublar! Excuse me, I mean ARK Park!
For those of you new to ARK Park, you can check out some of our earlier coverage of the game here. Basically, you are at a dinosaur theme park where you will be free to explore and engage in all kinds of dino shenanigans. Want to breed your own dinos, they got that. Want to hunt down rare dino genes and flaunt your prize finds to your friends, you can do that. How about a relaxing ride on your very own earth shaking dino? You can do that as well.
A Little Something for Everyone
Players will have at least 10 maps to explore and many of the tasks will keep you busy. From puzzle solving to base defense and weapons crafting, ARK Park seems to have a little something for everyone. You can even team up with you palls and hunt down some hidden easter eggs! Yes, we even get a little combat. After all, not all the dinosaurs are friendly and we do have to flex our weapon crafting talents.
The PSVR release will support the PlayStation controller as well as the PlayStation Move. No official price has been announced for you ticket to this Jurassic island experience but we will keep you posted. This news definitely has us looking forward to information about the Steam versions release date. After all, PC players love riding dinos too.
