Raw Data has definitely proven to be a bright spot for VR early access games. Not only has Survios’ sci-fi action game spread across all the major VR platforms, it has maintained a highly positive feedback rating while doing so. Raw Data has even picked up a few awards along its early access journey. But, like all good things, that journey has come to an end.
Survios has officially announced that Raw Data will be leaving early access. Release dates are set for October 10th in North America and October 11th in Europe. Players will finally be able to play through the campaign in its entirety, reaching its climactic conclusion. Survios has also stuck to their word and announced that the release will also include an enhanced graphical update. This should make the experience even more enjoyable for new and returning players alike.
Co-op and PvP
Vive and Rift users have a nice little bonus included with the official release. The all new co-op and player vs. player modes will be available. Hostile Takeover, the all new player vs. player game mode, will put two players head to head in duel. This definitely makes for a great way to settle arguments. Unfortunately, we do not have a release date on when those modes will be made available for PlayStation VR players.
