Attention agents, you have a train to catch! That’s right, I Expect You To Die is back with an all new level. What would be more befitting of hard working agents, such as yourselves, than a First Class train ride through the mountains of norther India? How about an all-expense paid First Class train ride through the mountains of norther India!
Of course, in Schell Games’ incredibly popular escape room game, nothing is ever completely free. Agents will, as per usual, be expected not to die. However, the new level known as First Class, is completely free. Now that is truly a First Class act.
It’s the Journey, Not the Destination
Since launching last year, I Expect You To Die has had great success in sales across all three major HMDs. The most common criticism is that the games four levels are simply not enough. In response, Schell Games has worked for the past six months on creating a new level that explores some ideas the studio didn’t get to try the first time around. So not only will we get a new level, but potentially some exciting new in-game concepts as well.
While not much is known about what dangers agents will be faced with, there was some mention of “meeting some new friends and catching up with old ones”. This, and a nice shout out to the community, can be seen on a Playstation Blog written by the game’s Design Director, Shawn Patton.
The free update and level will be headed to the PlayStation 4 October 24th and will be free of charge. No date has been announced for a Rift or Vive update on Steam at this time. We will, of course, keep you informed as more information comes available. And agents, do try to stay alive until then.
