Sharpshooting is a highly technical skill that usually separates the MVPs of an online match in whatever FPS game you like to play from the noobs. But the general consensus is that no one likes those camping bastards. Even though snipers should camp if the team’s tactics call for it – it’s true people. Well, it’s a sensitive subject. But what if you just take out all of the unnecessary “noise” and make a whole game about being a camping sniper who takes out his unknowing targets? That’s exactly what developer Zatun are aiming with their new debut VR title Sniper Rust VR.
Check out the trailer below:
In Sniper Rust VR you’ll have the task of getting behind the scope to prevent the rise of a dangerous insurgency through 18 levels in environments inspired by locations across the globe. complete with real-world effects, realistic weapons and challenging threats. “In the single-player campaign, you play as an elite marksman employed by a covert agency, called upon to put your sniping skills to the test,” said the studio via a press statement. “As you navigate your way through four diverse, photorealistic environments, face off against unique enemy AI including undercover snipers, air assaults and other hidden traps!
