Zen Studios are releasing their very popular title, The Walking Dead Pinball on Pinball FX2 VR next week. Already available for Oculus, Pinball FX2 VR was an instant hit with gamers. And now they’re adding the highly addictive The Walking Dead Pinball VR to their repertoire.
Seems a lot of people got bitten and now have the zombie (pinball) fever as this game is somehow extremely addictive. The game has been available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PC/Mac, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and Wii U since August 2014.
The Walking Dead Pinball VR will take you through five different episodes, with a ‘wizard mode’ at the end. You join Lee and Clementine again, but this time in VR. Experience the choice-driven gameplay that Telltale is famous for along with original story dialogue from the award-winning cast. “You’ll be placed in scenarios that include choosing who to save and who to leave behind in a walker attack, solving problems and keeping up morale within the group. You will need to search for food and supplies, acquire important tools, and navigate through the herd amidst an oncoming walker breach.” And, of course, you need to keep Clementine safe. The walkers will torment you throughout the whole game, always getting ever closer.
Pinball FX2 (and so The Walking Dead Pinball VR) is coming to HTC Vive and Playstation VR too
Pinball FX2 VR will also be available for HTC Vive on Steam and Playstation VR at $14.99 next week. The following games will be available on Pinball FX2 VR: Mars, Secrets of the Deep, and Epic Quest. You can also get the Pinball FX2 VR: Season 1 Pack for $24.99 next week, which includes CastleStorm, Wild West Rampage, BioLab, Paranormal and Earth Defense. And The Walking Dead Pinball VR will cost you about $6.99. Zen Studios, the creators of Pinball FX2, are also planning on adding more content to their library soon.
Both Pinball FX2 VR for HTC Vive and Playstation VR and The Walking Dead Pinball VR launches in North America on November 29. No date has been confirmed for the Europe launch yet.
