The Lost Bear is a brand new PSVR video game, developed by Odd Bug Studio and Fabrik Studio. This inspiring, odd, artistic experience is Odd Bug’s first game. The Lost Bear started out as a side project and ended up, with determination, sleepless nights, and a little bit of money, being a fully realized virtual reality game. This is a major milestone for Odd Bug Studio and this will definitely not be their last title.
In The Lost Bear, you play Walnut, a little girl who has lost her teddy bear. Scavenge through rustic woods, avoiding toy-stealing-thieves, on your puzzling journey to find the lost teddy bear. This game has been developed around an incomparable concept. The majority of this game will be played in a two-dimensional world but uses VR capabilities to enhance the environment, tone, and ability to solve the puzzles in unique ways.

This miraculous atmosphere is made all the more quaint by using hand drawn graphics. Immerse yourself into a quirky new VR concept and allow yourself to become lost in the hand-crafted environment. The lead artist, Martin Reimann, has stated that “working on The Lost Bear really helped [them] define [their] art style and create something very special.” This means that we can expect more games like this in the future from the studio.
If one thing was to be said about The Lost Bear, the absolute inventive creativity would be the most notable aspect. You can expect this to be an immense, fully realized world and story, giving you replay-ability and excitement every time you turn it on. The Lost Bear will be a do-not-miss experience. If you are, at all, tired of the same simulations feeling the exact same, game to game, expect The Lost Bear to give you a much-needed breath of fresh air. Odd Bug and Fabrik Studios’ will change the way VR platformers are designed.
The current release date for The Lost Bear is TBA but will be a PSVR exclusive for the time being.
