Wolfdog Interactives’ dungeon crawling adventure, VR Dungeon Knight, just saw its first major update. The Trap Update, as it is called, is now live and ready for you and your dungeon crawling friends to enjoy. Just remember to keep your wits about you. Something tells me this update might involve traps.
The Trap Update includes all sorts of goodies, most notably a great looking graphics overhaul. You will also get to sink your steel into some new enemies, like the servant of the necromancer. I also mentioned that there might be traps. How about fireball, spike, and Stalker traps, all hidden throughout the dungeons.
Have a Friend Drop In
The Trap Update isn’t just pretty things and new obstacles. You also get an improvement to the combat system. A hitbox rework, new weapon interaction system, new blocking mechanics, and improved weapon strike mechanics are all included. Sounds like a lot for just one adventurer to test out. So, why not bring a friend?
The update also includes some improvements to the multiplayer experience. An all new drop-in co-op system lets your friends join you even while you’re in the deepest of dungeons. It is good to see this early access game growing into one hell of crawler. You can pick it up for yourself on Steam for $19.99 and help shape its next big patch with your feedback. Happy hunting VR gamers!
