Getting frisked by a TSA agent is one of those delightful rites of passage that everyone has to suffer through. But what if the shoe was on the other foot and you actually have the chance to get frisky this time around? Out There Entertainment now affords you that highly rewarding experience by plopping you down in the unfashionable black shoes of a TSA agent with TSA Frisky.
While a demo of the game was already made available last week, the game is releasing today on Steam for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality at $14.99 US. So if you’ve ever wanted to be the metal detector wielder with an obsession over bottle sizes then obviously this is your chance. But the job of a TSA agent is undoubtedly stressful and so you’ll have to keep those stress levels in check if you want to keep getting in people’s virtual space without blacking out. Not from their body odor, but from all the stress of the job of course.
Check out the trailer:
TSA Frisky manages to be a wacky, fast-paced combination of the ever popular mechanics of Job Simulator and Shooty Fruity. You have to search people for any contraband as well as go through their luggage. Your supervisor is right there, though, and will be scoring your performance so it’s best to be utterly thorough if you want to keep this amazing job.
The only problem is, these passengers want to board their planes in time. So if you don’t want to ruin everyone’s day, then it’s best to be quick about it and check everything, don’t judge them on their belongings, throw any contraband in the red bin, get their luggage zipped back up, give your stamp of approval, and send them on their merry way before time runs out. Easy peasy.
However, if the daunting aspects of your job get a little too daunting, then you can always retire to the break room to have a breather. Be sure you don’t take too many breaks though, and give 110% (whatever that even means) if you want to impress your supervisor and earn promotions and upgrades to become the TSA’s most effective employee.
If you’re up to get frisky, then make sure to take a look at TSA Frisky when it launches on Steam today.
