Pinball wizards, rejoice! Pinball FX2 VR has just received a long-awaited update, and with it comes the latest DLC tables. The Universal Classics Pinball DLC, that was wildly popular in Pinball FX3, is now available in Pinball FX2 VR.
The latest round of DLC is currently available for the Oculus Rift, Oculus Go, and Gear VR headsets. Unfortunately, no word yet on if and when the Steam version will see the DLC listed. The same sad news goes for a PSVR release. So, what all do you get in the Universal Classics DLC? Let’s take a look.
Fish, Aliens, and Time Travel
Three new tables come in this DLC pack. An E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial table, complete with an alien cameo and candy. A Back to the Future table, that takes place in Hill Valley’s town square. Yes, we do get to see a time machine zip by and a whole slew of catchphrases come with it. Last but not least, Jaws will be making an appearance. This one has you surrounded by water and features a few one liners as well.
If you are unfamiliar with Pinball FX2 VR, just think of it as a virtual hangout where you can select from any pinball table you own. Not only are the tables very well designed, the area surrounding the table comes to life, in the theme of the table.
Pinball FX2 VR does feature Touch support, but it’s more or less just as a gamepad. The DLC will run you about $20.00 on top of the game itself, which is available for $14.99.
