Float On A Sea Of Memories Full Of Optical Illusions

Ivanovich Games released their take on the classic arcade war game, Operation Warcade last year and brought the action title to PlayStation VR just last month. This month, however, the studio is taking a more relaxed route with their newly released title Sea Of Memories which takes you on a seaward journey filled with optical illusions.

The game is now available for Oculus Rift, Gear VR, and Oculus Go on the Oculus Store, and Google DayDream on the Daydream Store. The game is also releasing for HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality headsets on Steam come June 1st. A PSVR version is set to come soon as well. So the developers are definitely going all out to bring the game to as many major VR platforms as possible.

Check out the trailer below:

While it may not look like one of the most polished titles, graphically, the game does show some promisingly creative features and could be just what you need for a relaxed night in.

Sea Of Memories lets you take control of a rickety boat to travel into the mind of an unnamed protagonist. While traveling across the high seas, you’ll encounter the protagonist’s memories through over 100 optical illusion puzzles spread around islands in the game. Judging from the trailer and gameplay description, it sounds like Sea Of Memories will have you figure out what the particular memory of the protagonist is about by finding the perfect angle of a set of seemingly oblong blobs by rotating the pieces to clean up the chaos.

If this sounds like something you’d like then make sure to get Sea Of Memories on whatever VR platform you prefer. The game is going for $10 on Rift, Vive, and Windows MR, and at $4 for Oculus Go, GearVR, and Daydream.
