Price Drop

The HTC Vive is also making waves today. HTC announced that its flagship HMD is receiving a $100 price cut, bringing the total price down to $500. This package does include controllers and lighthouses. Everything you need to dive into a great VR experience, including a two-month trial for Viveport.

At $800, the Vive Pro might be a tough pill to swallow. But, HTC did indicate that the updated HMD was targeted to its enterprise consumers. It will be interesting to see the pre-order sales numbers, once the sticker shock has settled.
