Sairento VR Set To Release January 2018, New Trailer Revealed

You might be an ordinary nine to fiver in real life, but in virtual reality you can be anything you want. Even a cyber ninja to be reckoned with. Sairento VR gives you this opportunity and more. The Early Access game was originally due for a full release for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift back in August this year. However, the full release was postponed – though the updates kept coming at a steady pace. Now the full release date of the game is nearly upon us again (hopefully for real this time) and we’re pretty excited to see the final product.

The Sairento VR Steam page says that the game is set to release for Vive and Rift on Steam on 21 December 2017. However, according to a recent press release from Mixed Realms, that date has been moved up again to January 2018. You can get the early access version of the game right now for $29.99, or you can wait for a possible launch discount. As a cyber ninja, you can perform wall runs, power slides, amazing backflips, triple jumps, and even slow down time to strike deadly blows at your enemies. Want to parry projectiles with your sword or try out other weapons like kunais and shurikens? Then Sairento VR is your game.

Mixed Realms released a new trailer in anticipation of the game’s full release.

You can check it out below:

Sairento VR is a mission-driven, VR action role-playing game set in a re-imagined Japan in the near future and you play as a member of the Silent Ones. This covert organization practices the ancient martial arts of samurais and ninjas. Their game currently has a single player mode and a multiplayer mode. At the moment you can progress in the game by upgrading your abilities and weapons by completing missions. But when the game fully releases, it will have a story campaign mode as well.

Sairento VR is currently available on Steam Early Access for HTC Vive and Oculus Touch for $29.99 USD. The game is set to leave Early Access in January 2018.
